Sea View Playwright's Theatre Company presents Terrence McNally's Tony nominated play Mothers and Sons, beginning Friday, December 2 for a two weekend run through December 10.

Directed by Craig Stoebling, Mothers and Sons features Karen O'Donnell as Katharine Gerard, John Carhart at Cal Porter, Billy Piscopo as Will Ogdon and Robert Terzino-Torres as Bud.

The Sea View production, the first for the play in the NYC area since its Broadway run in 2014, will have a 5 performance run Friday and Saturday, December 2 and 3 at 8:00pm and Sunday, December 4 at 3:00pm with additional performances Friday and Saturday, December 9 and 10 at 8:00pm.

Mothers and Sons, which was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Play in 2014 along with a Best Actress nomination for its original star Tyne Daly, began at the Bucks County Playhouse in June, 2013 and began its Broadway run in February, 2014. Twenty years after her son's death, Katharine Gerard turns up at the door of his former lover Cal, who is now married to another man and has a son. Cal and his family challenge the woman to confront the truths of their shared past, and a future she never imagined. The play explores the very essence of family and forgiveness in a rapidly changing society.

Performances are at Sea View Playwright's Theater Company 460 Brielle Avenue. Tickets are $22.00 General Admission and $20.00 for senior citizens and students and may be purchased at the door beginning 30 minutes prior to the performance.
