Stage Door Records are proud to present our second collection on Steve Barton, the star of 'Phantom Of The Opera' and 'Tanz Der Vampire'. In this collection of private and previously unreleased recordings and in a variety of musical styles, the many faces and moods of Steve Barton come alive, in full focus. Compiled and carefully restored from Steve's own private archive of tapes, Encore is a very special souvenir and a private glimpse of a song stylist and performer at work.

Steve's vocals are clear and confident in the previously unreleased recordings from the musicals 'The House On The Corner', 'Company' and 'Guys & Dolls', while his 'Drawn To You' from 'The Anastasia Affaire', alters the tempo and texture of this collection.

This anthology ably demonstrates Steve's charismatic presence as a live performer as he prepares and rehearses for his one-man show. These private moments capture the essence of his uniquely introspective style of performing and his ability to deliver show tunes with elegance.
