The cast of Broadway's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee will present a gay themed performance on Sunday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m.

"If you're feeling pretty and witty and gay, the students of Putnam County are sure to show you the definition of F-U-N at Gay Night," state press ntoes.

In addition to Gay Night, the cast will also present the previously announced and increasingly R-rated Adults Only Night which will take place on Sunday, March 4th at 7:30 p.m.

Spelling Bee is the Tony Award-winning musical with music and lyrics by William Finn, book by Rachel Sheinkin, conceived by Rebecca Feldman and directed by James Lapine.  The show "features six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learning that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.

The Broadway production of Spelling Bee opened on May 2, 2005 before launching a national tour in September of 2006 and an open-ended engagement in Chicago in March of 2006.

Tickets for theme nights are on-sale now at all regular prices.  Due to mature material and politically incorrect humor, no one under the age 16 will be admitted to the Adults Only and Gay Night performances.

Tickets are available through Telecharge, (212) 239-6200 or www.telecharge.com, or by visiting the Circle in the Square Theatre box office (1633 Broadway).  Tickets prices are $95.00 and $50.00.  Premium seating is available.
