It is no secret that supermodel Kate Moss has toyed with the possibility of pursuing an acting career on stage and screen.  Numerous reports over the past several years have connected her with numerous directors, among them Michael Figgis of Leaving Las Vegas fame, to discuss possible projects.

Most recently, the internet was abuzz with rumors that Moss was set to play a small role of a nymph on stage in the Old Vic's The Tempest.  The reports circulated after Moss reportedly met with stage and screen star Kevin Spacey, who is serving as the Old Vic's Artistic Director for the eighth consecutive year.

Putting the rumors to bed, Spacey confirms that while he did socialize with Moss recently, she will not be partaking in The Tempest, as a nymph or otherwise. Spacey tweets: "Great to hang w/ Kate Moss last wk but not sure where stories of her treading boards at the Old Vic came from. Not a grain of truth in it!"

One of the most internationally recognizable faced, Kate Moss has graced over 450 magazine covers. Known for her waifish figure, she is also notorious for her high-profile relationships and party lifestyle, and remains one of the highest paid models in the world. Moss has appeared in music videos such as "Kowalski" by Primal Scream, "I Just Don't Know What to Do with Myself" by the White Stripes, "Something About the Way You Look Tonight" by Elton John, "Sex with Strangers" by Marianne Faithfull and "Delia's Gone" and "God's Gonna Cut You Down" by Johnny Cash. She has also provided vocals for songs by Primal Scream (the 2003 version of "Some Velvet Morning") and Babyshambles.

On screen, Moss played a non-musical role in the British television comedy Blackadder: Back & Forth, appearing both as Maid Marian and as a fictional Queen of England.
