Soulful Sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey Win Radio Disney's N.B.T.

Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences have voted and teen sister pop singers and actresses Chloe and Halle Bailey from Atlanta, Georgia have been named the season five winner of Radio Disney's "N.B.T." (Next BIG Thing), it was announced this evening by Radio Disney on-air personality Jake Whetter, on stage at the "N.B.T." Finale event in Los Angeles, California. Performances and special guest appearances included Hollywood Records recording artist and "N.B.T." season three finalist Coco Jones, "N.B.T." season four winner Shealeigh, and "Austin & Ally" stars Laura Marano and Ross Lynch along with his band R5. Highlights from the finale event will air during the Disney Channel premiere of "Disney's A Christmas Carol" on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 14 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT). As winner of Radio Disney's "N.B.T.," Chloe and Halle will record a new single to be released by Disney Music Group, which they will perform on the hit Disney Channel series "Austin & Ally."

Kelly Edwards, Executive Director of Music and Programming, Radio Disney said, "Chloe and Halle deliver vocal and instrumental harmonies that are captivating. Their musical talents coupled with their bright and relatable personalities won the hearts of our audience and we're thrilled to have them as this season's winner."

Chloe and Halle, ages 14 and 12 respectively, are also songwriters and play their own instruments with Chloe on piano and Halle on guitar. The YouTube sensations have been highlighted by notable media outlets including RollingStone.com and "The Ellen Degeneres Show." They appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Let It Shine," "Joyful Noise," "The Fighting Temptations," and Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns." Their featured songs on "N.B.T." were "T.M.I." and "Take It All."

Currently in its fifth season, "N.B.T." is the recurring multi-platform program that puts the spotlight on young recording artists and provides them with national broadcast and online exposure, and gives them the opportunity to perform in multiple markets through N.B.T. On Tour powered by Invisalign Teen. Over the course of 10 weeks, Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences have been invited to look, listen and vote for their favorite artist at RadioDisney.com, Radio Disney's Facebook page and Twitter, and via text.

Radio Disney is the #1, 24-hour radio network devoted to kids, tweens and families. Kids help pick the music that is played and are encouraged to interact via a toll-free phone line to the Radio Disney studio. The network's current playlist, driven by listener requests and representing major record labels, includes recording artists Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Katy Perry, Cody Simpson, Carly Rae Jepsen and Cher Lloyd.
