Sandy Shugart of Valencia College to Perform at Garden Theatre, 1/11

The Garden Theatre, located at 160 West Plant Street in historic Winter Garden, is pleased to announce the exclusive return engagement of Sandy Shugart In Concert, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 8pm, supported by Valencia College.

Dr. Shugart, the multi-talented President of Valencia College, appears on the Garden Theatre stage with his acoustic folk-style, coffeehouse sound. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy his music, as he and a tight knit band of fellow musicians create a warm blend in an intimate venue, complete with a comfy couch and cozy rug to furnish the stage.

The multi-talented President of Valencia College, Dr. Sanford "Sandy" Shugart returns for a third performance at the Garden Theatre after near sold out shows the previous years. Dr. Shugart has served as President for Valencia College since 2000, with Valencia College awarded the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence in 2011 under his leadership.
