Jump/Cut, a new play by Neena Beber, will be presented by The Women's Project at the Julia Miles Theatre (424 W. 55th Street), from February 1st through 26th.

Directed by Leigh Silverman (Oedipus at Palm Springs, the upcoming Well), the show concerns Paul, Karen and Dave, three characters who "embark on a filmmaking adventure that captures the complications of the human heart and the ethics of ambition," according to press notes.  Thomas Sadoski (Reckless, This is Our Youth) will play Paul, with Michi Barall (Tartuffe, Saved or Destroyed) as his girlfriend Karen and Luke Kirby (Troilus and Cressida) as his friend Dave.

Jump/Cut was previously produced at Washington, D.C.'s Wooly Mammoth Theatre as an acclaimed co-production with Theatre J.  The award-winning Beber has also penned plays such as The Thirst, Dew Point, Hard Feelings and Tomorrowland, as well as numerous film and TV scripts.

Jump/Cut's design team will boast creative team includes Narelle Sissons (sets), Miranda Hoffman (costumes), ML Geiger (lighting), Jill BC DuBoff (music and sound), and Brian Beasley (projection design).

The show's performance schedule is Wednesday through Saturday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM and Sunday at 3 PM (except on Sunday Feb. 12, when there is a 7 PM performance). There is an extra performance on Wednesday Feb. 22 at 2 PM.  All tickets are $52 (including $2 restoration fee); they are available by visiting Telecharge.com, calling (212) 239-6200 or visiting the Julia Miles Theatre box office.  For information on groups, single tickets and student rates, call (212) 757-3900 or visit www.womensproject.og.
