Six master improvisors are taking over the sets of Perfect Crime at the Anne L. Bernstein Theater (Friday May 6 and Saturday May 7, 10:30pm), and on the set of The Effect at the Barrow Street Theatre (Sunday May 8 @10pm, Monday May 9 @8pm). Created and directed by Stephen Ruddy (Gravid Water) in collaboration with Scott Adsit (30 Rock, Big Hero 6), Bob Dassie (WeirDass, Dasariski), TJ Jagodowski (TJ & Dave, Sonic), John Lutz (30 Rock, SNL), David Pasquesi (TJ & Dave, Veep), and Stephnie Weir (Mad TV, The Comedians), the concept for the show was originally workshopped at the Barrow Street Theatre and premiered at Chicago's 400 seat Victory Gardens Biograph Theatre in 2015.

Stolen House blends the immediacy of improv with the theatricality of a play, challenging audience and performers to explore: what makes a play, what makes something theatrical? Through this shared experience, the creators hope to appeal to the lovers of theatre and comedy.
