Tony-winning actor John Gallagher, Jr. visited the inaugural edition of THE DAILY AT THE DAILY, in which he hung out at The Daily bar in New York City. The actor chatted about jamming with 'Newsroom' co-star Jeff Daniels, his forgotten "West Wing" cameo and a potential role on "Glee". "I'd like to just have one line... and deliver it very badly," joked the actor. Check out the appearance below!

Gallagher plays a senior producer on HBO's new drama series "The Newsroom," which follows a network anchor (Jeff Daniels), his new executive producer (Emily Mortimer), and their boss (Sam Waterston), and tracks their quixotic mission to do the news well in the face of corporate and commercial obstacles - not to mention their own personal entanglements.

Gallagher won a Tony award for his portrayal of Moritz Stiefel in the rock musical “Spring Awakening.” He appeared most recently in Broadway's 'Jerusalem' and 'American Idiot', as well as Rabbit Hole. Off-Broadway he has taken the stage in Farragut North, Port Authority and Kimberly Akimbo.
