HUGH SHERIDAN is Australia's hottest young star. He is Ben Rafter on Packed to the Rafters, Australia's leading TV Series, for which he has won 2 Silver Logies.

He records for Sony Entertainment Music Australia and his debut album SPEAK LOVE is high up on the charts. 24 Yr old Hugh will be making his American debut on Thursday Oct 7th at the Snapple Theatre in NEWLEY DISCOVERED commissioned by David Campbell for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. This is a fund raiser for BC/EFA. The show pays homage to Anthony Newley.

Full Bio
Hugh graduated from Australia's prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 2007 and on graduating secured one of the lead roles in Australia's highest rated family drama Packed to the Rafters. His role as Ben Rafter secured him the 2010 Silver Logie Award for Most Popular Actor as well as a Silver Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent and a Graham Kennedy Award Nomination for Most Outstanding New Talent at the 2009 Logie awards.
Hugh starred in the sold out, one man show Newley Discovered at the 2009 Adelaide Cabaret Festival and brought the highly successful show to the Sydney Opera House in June 2010.

While at NIDA, Hugh appeared in numerous student theatre productions including Sweet Charity and Hamlet. He also appeared in the Australian Ballet Company's productions of The Three Musketeers and Romeo & Juliet and has trained at The English National Ballet and Paris Opera Ballet.

Hugh recently signed with Sony Music and released his debut album, Speak Love, in November 2009.
