What would a video game look like on Broadway? Find out below, with ASSASSINS CREED: THE MUSICAL. The three song review uses both Broadway and YouTube talent and introduces a new, gamer audience to the format of live musical theatre.

Brendan A. Bradley (DailyMotion's Original Squatters, PBS's Frankenstein MD) helms the three song review intended as a proof of concept for Machinima's next wave of original programming. The project was inspired by an episode of Inside Gaming when a fan asked about a musical. Creator and Lyricist, Joel Rubin, improvised a few lyrics on the spot. Bradley was partnered with New York composer Cormac Bluestone and Los Angeles production company New Man Media to set Rubin's words to an original score and stage the show for an ambitious 1 day shoot at YouTube Space LA, a google owned sound stage in Marina del Rey. Scott Turner (HBO's True Blood, Cinemax's Banshee) edits.

The cast includes Matt Caplan (Bway's Rent, South Pacific Revival, Spiderman Turn Off The Dark, High Fidelity), Jonah Platt (HAIR Hollywood Bowl, a regular at Rockwell Stage including a Bway World Best Actor Nominee for BARE), Ben Palacios (SPANK! National Tour and youtube parody singer), Jaquita Ta'le (from the Hip Hop/R&B/Reggae group Nola Darling) and Bruce Green & Eliot Dewberry from Machinima's in-house show Inside Gaming.

Costumes were by Brent Roberts, Nimi Becza, Lee Camara & Aaron Schoenke of Bat In The Sun). Tessa Munro choreographs.
