Seascape with Sharks and Dancer by Don Nigro will open at 13th Street Repertory (50 West 13th Street) on September 2nd and continue to play on September 3rd, 10th and 11th. Directed by Paul Purvine, the cast features Leila McCann and Zachery Gamble.

Ben, a lonely. aspiring novelist, pulls a beautiful, naked woman from the ocean in what appears as a suicide attempt and brings her to his remote Cap Cod beach house to recuperate. The young woman, Tracy, claims that she was only dancing in the sea and treats Ben's attempts at hospitality and kindness with contempt. Nevertheless Ben finds himself beginning to care for her and too afraid to reveal his feelings for fear of her leaving. Caught between her need to rest somewhere and deep seated emotional damage that continually triggers her impulse to attack him, Tracy admits to Ben that she never finishes anything for fear of losing it. Yet she remains and their love story begins.
