A remastered take on a cinema classic!

Academy Award-winning movie musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS is showcased on a newly remastered Digital Deluxe Edition of the soundtrack now available to order from Warner Archives.

Of note, the new recording features several outtakes and alternate versions taken from the original master tapes.

The official description of the AN AMERICAN IN PARIS soundtrack is as follows: "The music of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS is experiencing a resurgence with the critically acclaimed Broadway Musical! Warner Archive is proud to reissue the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the classic 1951 film & Academy Award® winner for Best Picture starring Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, Oscar Levant, and Georges Guetary. Gershwin's music and Gene Kelly's choreography and performances provide the blueprint to the movie making it a classic and the Soundtrack is available once again in Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Digital Deluxe Edition features 47 tracks including outtakes and alternate versions."
