Red Branch Theatre Company Sets Casting for DOGFIGHT & PETER RABBIT

Red Branch Theatre Company (RBTC) will complete its 2015 season entitled Coming of Age with two engaging and varied theatrical experiences: Dogfight and Peter Rabbit. Casting has just concluded for both upcoming productions at Howard County's newest professional theatre.

Dogfight transports audiences to the life of three Marines in 1963 on the eve of their deployment to a rising conflict in Southeast Asia. This masterful musical by up-and-coming talents Pasek and Paul (Edges, NBC's Smash) tells a story of redemption and kind-hearted compassion with hauntingly beautiful songs that won them the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical.

New musical Peter Rabbit has hometown roots as it makes its world premiere on the Red Branch stage. With a book and score written by Howard County native and Red Branch Company Member Dustin Merrell, this original musical adaptation brings many of Beatrix Potter's classic characters to dazzling new life. In Peter Rabbit, an adventure between friends, both old and new, teaches young audiences about the opportunities that come your way when you look at life with just "a little more hope."

Dogfight is presented with permission through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
