In celebration of 1,000 rockin' performances at The Venetian Las Vegas this September, the smash-hit musical ROCK OF AGES will partner with local non-profit, Positively Arts Foundation (PAF) for a "Positively Rockin'" master class on Friday, Sept. 18. 16 pre-determined Clark County School District high school students who are belonging members of PAF will have the opportunity to learn alongside the talented cast and crew at the ROCK OF AGES theatre.

As part of the "Positively Rockin'" master class, participating PAF members will have the opportunity to engage with the ROCK OF AGES cast and crew, including hair and wardrobe designers, Arsenal band members and more. The students will learn signature choreography and vocals from the show, experience the goings-on behind-the-scenes at one of the Strip's top Broadway-style productions, participate in one-on-one Q+A's and more, with purpose to provide an impactful, first-hand look at the professional world of performing arts.

Positively Arts Foundation (PAF) is a 501c3 non-profit bringing today's professional artists together with aspiring students to ensure that the performing arts continue to thrive despite the financial difficulties that so many schools are forced to navigate. Working hand-in-hand with the School-Community Partnership Office, Positively Arts Foundation is able to identify the schools most at-risk and in need of arts intervention programs. Positively Arts Foundation's mission is to create enrichment programs that use the arts to empower, inspire and heal.

In celebration of 1,000 performances and nearly three years onstage at The Venetian Las Vegas, the cast and company of ROCK OF AGES are thrilled to welcome this talented and deserving group to the theatre for a special, one-on-one experience.

Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, ROCK OF AGES tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. ROCK OF AGES takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! A hilarious, feel-good love story celebrating the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Ever Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more. Presented in Las Vegas at The Venetian Las Vegas, it is the same production fans all over the world have come to know and love.
