Tony Award nominee and "American Idol" finalist Constantine Maroulis returned to Rock of Ages as Drew last night and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture his epic return. Maroulis will appear for a limited 12-week engagement through October 26, 2014. The five-time Tony Award nominated musical Rock of Ages - which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary on Broadway, and its spot in the Top 30 Longest-Running Broadway Shows in History - continues to party eight times a week at the Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 West 44th Street.

He writes: "Before anyone ever cared where I would perform, I was a kid from Rock of Ages. It's where I walked. It's where I ran. It's where I cried. It's where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart. People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I'm their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me. I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can. My relationship with Rock of Ages is bigger than Broadway. I didn't realize that four years ago. I do now. I'm ready to accept the challenge. I'm coming home."

CONSTANTINE MAROULIS received a Best Actor Tony nomination and a Drama League Award nomination for his performance in Broadway's Rock of Ages. He made his Broadway debut in the Tony-Nominated production of The Wedding Singer and most recently starred in the dual title role of the first Broadway revival of Jekyll & Hyde and its National Tour, for which he received a Drama League Award Nomination for Distinguished Performance. Additional theater credits include Roger in the national tour of RENT and the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. Constantine was a finalist on the fourth season of "American Idol" and later a series regular on the CBS daytime drama The Bold and The Beautiful, which featured original songs from his debut album "Constantine," released on his own label, Sixth Place Records. Other television credits include Unforgettable, Law & Order, The Tonight Show, America's Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Conan, Ellen, Regis & Kelly, MTV and many more. Between theater and television appearances, Constantine continues to hit the studio to record new music on his label and tours as a guest star with the popular band Jessie's Girl, playing sold out concerts across the northeast. Constantine graduated from the Boston Conservatory and apprenticed at The Williamstown Theatre Festival.
