Patrick Page to Appear on 'Weekend Today,' Dec. 3

Broadway's Patrick Page, currently playing the title role in How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the Hilton Theatre, will appear on NBC's "Weekend Today" in New York on Sunday, December 3rd at 7:20 am.

Page, who most recently played Scar in The Lion King, has also appeared on Broadway in Julius Caesar opposite Denzel Washington, Beauty and the Beast as Lumiere, A Christmas Carol and The Kentucky Cycle.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, which opened at the Hilton Theatre on November 8th, also stars John Cullum, Kaitlin Hopkins, Michael McCormick and Rusty Ross, among others.

However, the Grinch soon discovers there's more to Christmas than he bargained for in this heart-warming holiday classic," state press notes. Starring Page in the title role, the musical features book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin.  Matt August directs the show, which is presented by Target.
