Past and Present 'Rent' Cast Members Appear on Sirius Week of 9/1

Past and present cast members of the Tony Award®-winning musical Rent, including Idina Menzel, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Tracie Thoms, Eden Espinosa, Adam PAscal and Gwen Stewart, will appear on SIRIUS’ Broadway’s Best channel for a week-long celebration of the show’s final week on Broadway.  SIRIUS listeners will hear cast members daily for an hour playing their favorite selections from the groundbreaking show and reminiscing about their lives while performing in Rent.  Rent will close after twelve years--the seventh longest run on Broadway—on September 7, 2008.

Broadway’s Best is  SIRIUS channel 77. The show will air each day starting Monday, September 1 through Friday, September 5 at 12 noon ET, with an encore broadcast of the celebration in its entirety on Sunday, September 7 starting at 9 am and 9 pm ET
