Paramount Pictures will double up on PARANORMAL ACTIVITY in 2014.

The studio has announced that the upcoming spin-off, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES, originally set for an Oct. 25 release, has been pushed to Jan. 3, 2014.

The spin-off comes from series staples Jason Blum and Christopher Landon. As of now, it has not been announced as to whether any other members of the creative team will return - including actress Katie Featherston.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5 will bring the franchise back to its Halloween roots, bowing in theaters on Oct. 24, 2014.

The fourth installment was released last October, and was filmed for just $5 million - it brought in just over $140 million at the box office, netting over $30 million in its opening weekend alone. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman served as co-directors, while Zack Estrin penned the script.
