On Wednesday Oct 5, 2011 at 8pm Opera on Tap will present a Halloween Ball at Parkside Lounge (317 East Houston Street)

OOT does the unprecedented this October. We're putting on costumes! Next Wednesday at the Parkside, OOTers will be strutting out their masquerading war paint and readying themselves to take on the scariest music in opera and the deceptive characters in opera! Scary can mean a lot of things of course, whether it be a scary character like a witch, or a scary aria that's scary hard to sing. (What could be scarier than a larynx splattered against the backwall of a divebar?)... We encourage you to dress up too! Beers shall flow and spooks are free. See you there!
