New Hampshire Theatre Project announces an exciting array workshops and classes for adults this spring. All levels are welcome.

March 21 - Voice Acting Workshop

Fundamentals of voiceover technique with emphasis on believability, personality, and connection. Participants will engage in a variety of exercises designed to help harness the uniqueness of their own voices, including vocal warm ups and placement, microphone technique, working with ad copy, podcasting and radio interviewing. Instructor: CJ Lewis. Fee: $40

May 2-June 6 - Scene Study Intensive

In this 6-week intensive, participants will work on listening and reacting skills as they work with scene partners using the works of contemporary playwrights. Students will focus on discovering elements in the script that serve as the basis for characterization. Memorization of one short scene will be required. Final sharing at the conclusion of the session. Instructor: Crystal Gould. Fee: $150

May 11 - Business & Strategic Storytelling

Participants will work to create powerful stories with intention - to lead, to inspire, to inform, to market, to fundraise. This workshop offers techniques and tips for shaping, telling and using compelling stories in the workplace.

Instructor: Genevieve Aichele. Fee: $40

June 5 - Improv Playground

Exercise your improv muscles with classic games, new games and original games! If you are an actor wanting to loosen up your performance technique, a business person hoping to build your spontaneity and teamwork skills, or you're simply looking for a fun night out with interesting people, Improv Playground is for you.

Instructor: Robin Fowler. Fee: $40
