Richard Alston, Artistic Director of The Place in London and former director of Ballet Rambert, has made a new ballet especially for NYTB to Aaron Copland's Piano Variations with costumes designed by Metropolitan Opera Resident Costume Designer, Sylvia Taalsohn Nolan.

Other ballets on the program are Frederick Ashton's "Capriol Suite," Merce Cunningham's "Septet" and Antony Tudor's "Jardin aux Lilas" and "Soiree Musicale."
