After a recent sold-out engagement at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, Spiegelworld brings Dr Alex's NEVER SLEEP ALONE back home to where it all began, with Joe's Pub being the first stop on her salacious soul-saving world tour. Dr Alex is in fact on the cusp of liberating millions of Japanese from the social curse of hikikomori with the imminent Japanese release of her best selling book of the same name (published by Daiwa Shobo 7/25/16).

A brilliantly funny, interactive live show, NEVER SLEEP ALONE straddles the worlds of stand- up comedy, immersive theater, group therapy seminar and wild live music party. With three performances only on August 6, 19 and 27, Dr Alex returns to New York with even more hook-up tips, more surprises and plenty of new strangers to meet. To get the party started, Dr Alex has also put her hands on a new right-hand man to front the band. The sensational, soulful singer Damian Lemar Hudson is well known to audiences at The Public from recent featured appearances in The Total Bent and The Loser's Lounge.

"I met some beautiful, sexy, fearless people in Las Vegas and I can't wait to get back to New York to share my new learnings with those thousands of desperate New Yorkers who are still sleeping alone this Summer," Dr Alex said, "You are never going to be as young and sexy as you are right now, so what are you going to do with it? The show is followed by an after-party at a nearby lounge, to give Audience members the chance to practice the NSA Lessons they've just learned on strangers and on each other.
