NBCUniversal Appoints Erika Estrada Boden to VP Business and Legal Affairs

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises announced the appointment of Erika Estrada Boden to Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs. In her role, she oversees business & legal affairs related to Telemundo, Digital Media & Emerging Business, NBC UNIVERSO, Corporate Communications, Telemundo International and Community Affairs.

Boden is responsible for overseeing contracts for unscripted and scripted programming, program acquisitions, sponsorship, advertising & production integration deals, distribution agreements and content licensing agreements. Boden advises all key company departments involved in the development, production and distribution of content, in connection with complex business and legal matters, and provides legal support to the business.

Boden joins NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises from FOX International Channels Latin America, where she served in the Business & Legal Affairs department for nearly eight years. Among her various areas of responsibility at Fox, she managed all legal and contractual matters for the Online & New Media department, including negotiations with major digital distribution platforms and social media outlets. Prior to FOX International Channels Latin America, Boden held several roles in the entertainment industry, including Executive Director of Business & Legal Affairs at Ole Communications Group, where she was responsible for all contractual and legal matters for E! Entertainment Television Latin America.

Boden graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. She received her Juris Doctor and Master of Science from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida.
