Musical of Musicals Performs at Tower Records February 24

The cast of the off Broadway hit, The Musical of Musicals - The Musical!, will perform and sign CD's at Tower Records, 1961 Broadway (corner of West 66th Street), from 5:30pm - 6:30 pm on Thursday, February 24. The cast will perform numbers from the show that The Daily News says "keeps you laughing from start to finish."

"Musical of Musicals" has been called witty, shameless and great fun by The Village Voice.

The New York Times wrote, "The Musical of Musicals - The Musical! has real wit, real charm. It's great fun."

As a special promotion, anyone who buys a "Musical of Musicals" CD at the Broadway Tower Records this month will receive a voucher good for a pair of discounted tickets to "Musicals" - good for a savings of $34. The Original Cast album is produced by Jay Records.

The Musical of Musicals - The Musical! is a musical about ... musicals! In a comic satire of musical theatre genres, one story becomes five musicals, each in the distinctive style of a different master of the form, from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim.

The music is by Eric Rockwell, lyrics by Joanne Bogart, and book by Rockwell and Bogart. The cast is Craig Fols, Lovette George, and the authors, Rockwell and Bogart. Pamela Hunt directs and choreographs.
