Moose + Moa Theatre Company presents, opening on Wednesday October 7th, and running until Sunday October 11th, their inaugural production of The Art of Being Alone, a new work by Stephane Garneau-Monten at Fraser Studios.

After presenting the first iteration of The Art of Being Alone at their company launch at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in early April, Moose + Moa are pleased to be returning to the stage with a full week production due to overwhelming positive audience response.

Written and performed by Stephane Garneau-Monten, a graduate of the National Theatre School, and Toronto based actor (Hello Cello, Goodbye Heart, Workshop at Factory Theatre, Life of Jude, Summerworks) and directed by Isaac Robinson, a McGill University graduate (Associate Director Ohio and Tadeu Take Their Lives at Montague Park, Rhubarb Festival, Assistant Dramaturge Cock, Studio Theatre) Described by Mooney on Theatre as "... equal parts poignant and hilarious," The Art of Being Alone examines, with a great deal of humor and not a little cheek, catastrophic heartache and depression in the aftermath of a bad break up.

Evening performances begin at 8pm on the 7th - 10th October, with a special Pay-What-You-Can Thanksgiving Matinee at 2pm on Sunday 11th October.

Moose + Moa is a new Toronto based company with a mandate rooted in the creation of new works. An artist led company, they seek to explore original, non-traditional forms of theatre.
