Mary Poppins to be Featured on 'Charlie Rose' & 'The View'

PBS' "The Charlie Rose Show" will feature an interview with the director of Mary Poppins, Richard Eyre, on Tuesday, December 26th.  The show itself will be featured on ABC's "The View," with the cast performing "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" on Thursday, December 28th.

Eyre's current projects Mary Poppins and the Judi Dench/Cate Blanchett/Bill Nighy film Notes on a Scandal are the topics of his "Charlie Rose Show" appearance.  "The Charlie Rose Show" airs locally on PBS Channel 13 at 11PM.  Elsewhere, please check your local listings.

The cast of Mary Poppins will be featured on "The View" on Thursday, December 28th.  "The View" airs in New York on WABC-TV (Channel 7) at 11 AM EST.  Elsewhere, check local listings.  The episode is being rebroadcast from the original December 7th airdate.

Presented by Disney and Cameron Mackintosh, the musical is produced by Mackintosh and Thomas Schumacher. The production opened at the New Amsterdam Theatre on November 16, 2006.
