Sorry Bangerz, but it looks like Miley Cyrus might be out of the game for a little bit.

CNN reports that the pop star has had an allergic reaction to a medication prescribed to her for treatment of a sinus infection.

In a statement released Friday by her camp, "all remaining U.S. dates on the Miley Cyrus 'Bangerz' tour have been postponed." But fear not twekers, there is good news too! The European leg of her tour will continue as planned starting May 2nd. But to make up for the U.S. shows she has added on dates between August 1st and 14th to replace her cancelled ones.

Reports claim that the reaction to the antibiotic, Cephalexin, is so severe in Cyrus' case that she could be out of commission for up to 27 days.

So far she has been receiving treatment, and despite Cyrus' tweeting on her own recovery, her press statement also said: "She will remain hospitalized and is under a doctor's care until we see some improvement in her condition and is asking for your compassion and privacy at this time. Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans."

It is of note to mention that Cyus took a screen shot of the official statement with the caption....

There really is no hope to have privacy when you're as big of a star as Miley Cyrus...or you use twitter to communicate about your illness to update the media. But despite the contradiction about privacy (long standing in Hollywood's case) here's to hoping she gets better and can successfully complete her tour!
