MACHINE H DANCE, the city's premiere emerging Dance Company, is thrilled to announce its first ever 'Spring Season' in the Muriel Schulman Theater at Triskelion Arts (106 Cayler Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222) at 7pm on Thursday, April 13th. The company, now in its fourth year, will present past and premiere work alongside guest artist, Holly Heidt, of Muliebris Dance Theatre.

MACHINE H DANCE, under the artistic and executive direction of Stephanie Deere, is known for connecting to the audience through the use of movement, performance quality and content. The dancers, with backgrounds ranging from classical dance training to theatre and acting experience, master Deere's explosively athletic movement as well as the quieter, intimate moments of simplicity that are so often relatable to the audience members.

Much of the production will consist of Deere's past and premiere choreography, showcasing the tremendous growth in the company since it's creation in 2012. "I am beyond excited for this season," says Deere. "Four years ago, with only three other dancers, I never could have imagined we would be here today. We have fought hard and this performance is a symbol of that perseverance."

MACHINE H DANCE SPRING SEASON will showcase the company's first commissioned work by founding company member, Cristina Gustaitis and new work by guest choreographer, Holly Heidt of Muliebris Dance Theatre. Deere is thrilled to share the stage with other empowering female artists. "I am so proud of my company members, and the work we will present," she says, "and I am honored to do it alongside Cristina Gustaitis and Holly Heidt, such talented and strong female choreographers whom I deeply respect!" The three choreographers' complementary styles create an easeful flow of repertoire that results in a thought provoking, reflective evening of dance.

Tickets are available pre-sale for $18 online at mhdss2017.brownpapertickets.com. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $25. For additional information on Machine H Dance, please visit machinehdance.com or email Stephanie Deere at info@machinehdance.com.
