The American Theatre Wing and XM Satellite Radio will present an interview with accomplished stage and screen actor Liev Schreiber on their weekly theatrical interview show, "Downstage Center," on XM's On Broadway (XM Channel 28). Schreiber will appear as the special guest on Friday, June 23 at 6 p.m. The show will repeat on Saturday, June 24 at noon, Sunday, June 25 at 7 p.m., and Wednesday, June 28 at midnight.

Schreiber is currently starring as the title role in The Public Theatre's production of Macbeth at The Delacorte.

Schreiber, who most recently won a Tony award on Broadway portraying Richard Roma in the Glengarry Glen Ross revival, has previously been seen on Broadway in In the Summer House and Betrayal (also by Pinter). An acclaimed interpreted of Shakespeare, he has appeared off-Broadway in Henry V, Othello, Hamlet, Cymbeline, Macbeth, and The Tempest. Schreiber's screen credits include the remake of The Manchurian Candidate, The Sum of All Fears, Kate & Leopold, Scream 3, Hamlet, Sphere, A Walk on the Moon and Big Night. A film adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer's best-selling novel Everything is Illuminated marked his directorial debut.

Each new "Downstage Center" program is regularly broadcast at 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays at noon, Sundays at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays at 12 a.m. (all times EST). Following the initial run on XM, each program is made available for free, on-demand, internationally on ATW's website, www.americantheatrewing.org.
