The multi Grammy, Tony and Drama Desk Award nominated Broadway composer Frank Wildhorn, creator of shows including Jekyll & Hyde, Dracula, Wonderland, Bonnie & Clyde and The Scarlet Pimpernel, will make his UK concert debut in an exclusive engagement for one night only tonight 22 November 2016 at the Palace Theatre Manchester, one of the venues that the UK & European première of his Wonderland will play from 24 - 30 April 2017 as part of a UK tour.

Frank will be joined by Broadway leading ladies Laura Osnes and Jackie Burns, who producers are flying in from New York for the occasion. Laura originated the title role in the recent Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and starred in the Broadway production of Frank's Bonnie & Clyde. Jackie starred as Elphaba in the first ever US tour of Wicked and was Idina Menzel's acclaimed alternate in the Broadway production and US tour of If / Then.

Jetting in from closer to home will be German musical theatre star Thomas Borchert who has headlined many of Frank's shows in Europe and West End star Cassidy Janson, currently playing Carole King in the hit West End musical Beautiful.

Prior to headlining the upcoming tour of Wonderland as Queen of Hearts and White Rabbit respectively, TV and West End star Wendi Peters, much loved for her acclaimed portrayal of Cilla Battersby-Brown in Coronation Street, and musical theatre favourite Dave Willetts, who rose to fame playing the title role in Phantom of the Opera, will offer an exclusive preview of material from the show alongside West End Wicked star Natalie McQueen and popular Jersey Boys alumnus Stephen Webb - who will play Mad Hatter and Jack - performing the songs in public for the first time.

With Frank at the piano and the 28-piece Manchester Camerata conducted by Broadway musical supervisor Jason Howland, Frank Wildhorn & Friends will feature a hand-picked selection of songs from Frank's many stage musicals plus some of his pop hits, including Whitney Houston's number one single, 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go?'. The internationally celebrated composer has previously offered concerts in New York, LA, Tokyo and Vienna and this, his UK debut, promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime event in Manchester's concert calendar ahead of any other UK dates.

Frank Wildhorn & Friends is produced by Neil Eckersley, with musical supervision and direction by Jason Howland.
