ABOUT AMIGOS DE JESÚS :

Amigos de Jesús, a Home for children in Honduras, is situated on 200 acres of rural farmland. It was founded in 1997 by a Honduran nun, Sister Teresita, a North American lay couple, Christine and Anthony Granese, and an Archdiocesan Philadelphia priest, Father Dennis O'Donnell. Over the past 19 years, Amigos de Jesús has cared for hundreds of children who have suffered the indignities of abuse, neglect, homelessness and hunger in one of the hemisphere's poorest countries. Amigos de Jesús provides a permanent safe haven with shelter, food and education for the children. For more information about the organization's mission and work, visit www.amigosdejesus.org.

Amigos de Jesús has provided a permanent home to over 150 children for 19 years. The founding priest, Fr. Dennis O'Donnell often quotes a pediatrician from St. Christopher's Hospital, who visited the home in 2014, "Amigos de Jesús is a monestary of healing for little people. That healing is the miracle of little children becoming children again."
