The new American play LOMBARDI makes it Broadway bow later this month and this Sunday September 12, you can see star Dan Lauria on WCBS TV's Sunday morning news broadcast between 7 - 8 AM (Channel 2 in the tri-state area), when he and The Broadway League's Charlotte St. Martin are interviewed by anchor Maurice Dubois. They'll also be talking about "Broadway on Broadway" which takes place later that day in the heart of Times Square. Dan Lauria and co-star Judith Light will be part of the annual event that attracts thousands of theatre enthusiasts.

LOMBARDI will begin previews at the Circle in the Square Theatre (50th street west of Broadway) on Thursday, September 23, 2010 and officially open on Thursday, October 21.

Starring Dan Lauria and Judith Light as Vince and Marie Lombardi, LOMBARDI is written by Academy Award winning playwright Eric Simonson and directed by Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail. LOMBARDI is based on the best-selling biography When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi, by Pulitzer Prize winning author David Maraniss.

Joining producers Tony Ponturo and Fran Kirmser as special producing partner is the National Football League, marking the organization's first foray on Broadway.
