The Lakewood Playhouse will present the SECOND SHOW of our 76th SEASON: "LITTLE WOMEN" by Lousia May Alcott. The Play will be performed on Fridays, Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. Performances will be November 7th- November 30th, 2014 with Special Showings at 8:00pm on Thursday, November 13th (Pay What You Can Night) and 8:00pm on Thursday, November 20th (Pay What You Can" Actor's Benefit). Our Ticket Prices are $25.00 (General Admission), $22.00 (Military), $21.00 (Seniors) and $19.00 (Students/Educators).

Presented in the Lakewood Playhouse's unique "in the round" configuration with seating on all sides of the stage. This production of "LITTLE WOMEN" will drop you right into the middle of home of the March Family Home in order to tell you the story of all of its "little women."

We are proud to present this beautiful adaption of Lousia May Alcott's timeless classic set against the backdrop of the American Civil War. It is a real treat that our presentation is happening during the book's 145th Anniversary of publication!

LITTLE WOMEN will feature the Lakewood Playhouse debut of Director SUZY WILHOFT. Mrs. Wilholft was the director of Tacoma Little Theatre's recent, and very successful, presentation of MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. She comes to us as the retired head of the Theatre Department at Stadium High School.

The show consists of a true "ensemble" of eleven Local Actors who are with both new, and old, faces to the Lakewood Playhouse stage. These including these following performers who are returning from previous productions: CASSIE FASTABEND (Jo), JOSEPH GRANT (Mr. Lawrence), COLEMAN HAGERMAN (Laurie), ASHLEY MOWREADER (Amy), SYRA BETH PUETT (Hannah), CAROL RICHMOND (Mrs. March), DARREL SHILEY (Mr. March), MARISSA TATE (Chronicles of Narnia), VIRGNIA YANOFF (Aunt March) and Lakewood Playhouse Managing Artistic Director, JOHN MUNN (Professor Baehr).
