Judah Tribe with special guest Toni Blackman perform at DROM in Honor of Transfiguration Day, celebrating the Release of Judah Tribe's debut album. Doors open at 9:00pm and the show starts at 9:20pm. DROM is located at 85 Avenue A (between 5th & 6th Street) This show is presented by New African Production.

The present fight and cry of the Children of the African diaspora can be heard and felt in the music of the soul/reggae fusion band, Judah Tribe. The band has members representing the USA, Haiti and Ecuador, each bringing their own unique story in a quest for peace, equal rights and justice. Led by singer/songwriters Josh David and Eric (The General) Toussaint, the revolutionary sounds of Judah Tribe have been heard at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (where they opened for The Wailers), Brooklyn Academy Of Music, as a champion for the call to justice for Sean Bell with their tune, "Judgment", and at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater.

Presently, Judah Tribe is in the studio finishing their debut album, NEW DAY DAWNIN', due for release this Fall. Recent collaborations include works with Ethiopian-native, Shéba ("Love This Lifetime"), Pashon Minott (the daughter of Sugar Minott), Biggz General & Alex Marley of The Marley Family, and Dax Lion.

Tickets are on sale now for $15 - Must be 21+ to enter. Tickets for this event may be purchased through Ticketfly or in person at Drom at 85 Avenue A. All sales are final and non-refundable. Drom offers a full service bar and kitchen, open all night. Full menu and drink specials online. Tickets are for general admission/standing room.
