John Leguizamo's GHETTO KLOWN, which opened this spring for a 12 week engagement and was immediately extended at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) closes on Sunday July 10. The acclaimed production will have played 25 previews and 95 regular performances. Plans are underway for John to take the show to other U.S. cities as well as to South America where he will perform it in Spanish.

Directed by Fisher Stevens, GHETTO KLOWN is the next chapter in John Leguizamo's popular personal and professional story. It is his fifth one man play, his third on Broadway, and follows in the uninhibited tradition of his Mambo Mouth, Spic-O-Rama, Freak, and Sexaholix...a Love Story. In Leguizamo's trademark style, the piece explodes with energy, heating up the stage with vivid accounts of the colorful characters who have populated his life. He takes audiences from his adolescent memories in Queens to the early days of his acting career and on to the sets of major motion pictures and his roles opposite some of Hollywood's biggest stars.

Playing schedule and ticketing information:

Mon & Tue at 7 PM, Wed - Sat at 8 PM. No performance on July 4. Added performance on July 10 at 3 PM.
