Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, adds another award to its crowded mantle. The Original Cast Recording has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) commemorating sales of over one million copies in the United States.

The album won the Grammy for Best Musical Show Album in 2006 and continues to be a sales juggernaut, repeatedly landing in the Top 25 of Billboard's Top Catalog Albums chart nearly four years after its release. This week, the album is #1 on Billboard's Top Cast Albums Chart.

Since its 2005 debut, Jersey Boys has become one of Broadway's biggest success stories in recent memory, playing to constantly sold-out crowds and garnering remarkable reviews. The musical also won the Tony® Award for Best Musical in 2006 and the Olivier® Award for Best New Musical in 2009. Jersey Boys tells the story behind the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, following the unlikely rags-to-riches rise of four blue-collar kids who worked their way from the streets of Newark to the heights of stardom.

Produced by Bob Gaudio, an original member of The Four Seasons, the show features the cast performing the group's biggest hits, including "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You," "December 1963 (Oh What A Night)," "Walk Like A Man," "Dawn (Go Away)" and more.

Nearing the four-year anniversary of its Broadway debut, the production is still playing to record-setting crowds across the country including extended runs in Chicago and Las Vegas. Jersey Boys is also playing to packed houses internationally. The musical made its London and Toronto debuts last year and opened this summer at the Princess Theatre in Melbourne, Australia
