Isabel Rose Celebrates TROUBLE IN PARADISE Album Release at 54 Below Tonight

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Isabel Rose, as she celebrates the release of her CD "Trouble In Paradise." The album, distributed by RED (a division of Sony Entertainment), is produced by the legendary Bob Rock, and inspired by a time when America was aglow with Kennedy's Camelot by day, and lit by the lights of Rat Pack Vegas by night. Isabel will be performing at 54 Below tonight, October 1st at 9:30pm.

"Trouble in Paradise" delivers thirteen tracks that are infectious, charming and completely refreshing. The title track of Isabel's CD, also called "Trouble In Paradise," is currently #39 on the Mediabase Adult Contemporary radio chart.

Backed by a five-piece band and backup dancers, Isabel promises an exuberant and exciting evening of entertainment at 54 Below, delivering favorites from the American Songbook and pop canon. At turns sassy and brassy, sultry and sophisticated, and always with charm, Rose is a showgirl at heart offering her own interpretations of classic songs as well as some surprises.

With a movie (Anything But Love, Samuel Goldwyn), a novel (The J.A.P. Chronicles, Doubleday), a one-woman off-Broadway musical that she wrote and performed in based on that novel (J.A.P Chronicles, The Musical), and a critically acclaimed CD ("Swingin' from the Hip", Jubilee Records) under her belt, Isabel Rose is back with "Trouble In Paradise", a new album that captures all the glamour and kinetic energy of the swingin' 60s.

Isabel has performed sold out concerts at 54 Below, Joe's Pub, The Blue Note, Le Poisson Rouge, The Cutting Room, The Cabaret Convention at Lincoln Center and at Los Angeles' Catalina's Jazz Club and The Mint.

Isabel was cast by Broadway director Jerry Zaks as Tess Kittridge in the Tony Award-winning Six Degrees of Separation and co-starred in Beau Jest, both off-Broadway and regionally. She was a member of The Williamstown Theater Festival company for three years and performed in their productions of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Marat Sade, Threepenny Opera, and as Gwyneth Paltrow's twin in Huckleberry Finn.
