Kaitlin Hopkins, Carey Anderson, Todd Buonopane, Jesse Nager, Whitney Bashor, and Marcus Paul James be among the performers starring in "Unsung 2006: Sex, Love and Lies," a benefit concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS that will take place on Monday, October 16th, at 8pm at the Lucille Lortel Theater.

The event will be produced by Todd Adamson and Stephanie Safko.  The two young producers recently started a theatre company called Fantastic Feats Productions.

"Unsung 2006" is the company's sophomore production effort.  Last May, the duo produced and performed in Unsung 2005 at the Zipper Theater (currently hosting Jacques Brel…) which featured Tony Award-winner Karen Ziemba.  The music for both concerts was donated by new and established composers in the Broadway community, including Laurence O'Keefe, Andrew Lippa, Douglas Cohen, John Mercurio, Brian Lowdermilk and Kait Kerrigan, and Hector Coris and Paul L. Johnson, among others.

"We love the idea of being able to showcase all these brilliant composers while raising money for this wonderful cause.  As producers, it is our responsibility to make sure all aspects of the concert are taken care of.  Hiring director Phillip George (Forbidden Broadway, Shout!) was a blessing in disguise as he has been such a wonderful influence on us as young adults in this industry.  We plan on producing this benefit every year, and every year we hope to raise more money for BC/EFA," stated Adamson and Safko.

This year, "Unsung 2006" will feature a cast of fifteen talented actors including Shannon Rafferty, Lea Cabrera, Megan Arnoldy, Michael John Lewis, Bobby Matoney, Scott Napier, Erin Henry, Natasha Gibbons, David Jon Wilson, Altovise DaCosta, Christianne Davis, Patrick Garrigan, Minami Yusui, Stephanie Safko, and Todd Adamson.
