Broadway star Harvey Fierstein and celebrity chef David Burke join Deputy Mayor for Economic Development Robert Steel, NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta and corporate partners American Express, American Airlines and AT&T to announce the latest marketing and promotional campaigns to drive tourism and boost the local economy during the historically slow travel months of January and February. The event will be held on Monday, January 10 at R Lounge at Two Times Square at the Renaissance Hotel Times Square.

Winter programs include the City's first-ever Broadway Week, which offers 2-for-1 tickets and the chance to win Broadway tickets for an entire year, the Get More NYCTM campaign, the return of the On the House Off-Broadway promotion and NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2011.

These programs, created by NYC & Company, New York City's official tourism, marketing and tourism organization, build on New York City's record-breaking year for tourism and will help achieve Mayor Bloomberg's goal of welcoming 50 million annual visitors by 2012.
