Frank Gehry, Alberta Arvelo and Eloisa Maturen Come Together for Stella Adler Lab's DEATH AND THE MAIDEN This Fall

Designer Frank Gehry, Director Alberto Arvelo and Actress Eloisa Maturen kicked off pre-production last week for the Stella Adler Lab Theatre Company fall production of Ariel Dorfman's Death and the Maiden.

Frank Gehry, designer of the Walt Disney Hall among other major architectural masterpieces, will be designing the set.

Venezuelan director, Alberto Arvelo, whose film The Liberator was short listed for the Oscar foreign film last year, will be directing.

Stella Adler Academy student and actress, Eloisa Maturen, who currently has a film, Liz in September, making the festival circuit, will be co-producing as well as starring as the lead, Paulina.

And Gustavo Dudamel, Venezuelan conductor, violinist and music director of the Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, will be composing the music for the play.
