It is hard to keep up with how rapidly Nasty Gal is growing. WWD reported that the e-tailer has brought Sheree Waterson into the company. Waterson is the former chief product officer from Lululemon who was fired over the luon-gate scandal. And although she was there during the sheer-pants debacle, she also helped oversee the company during a huge growth period.

"Lululemon did a really good job of managing that [the fabric issue]. They had a ton of changes of leadership - they have a new ceo," Sophia Amoruso, Nasty Gal founder, chief executive officer and creative director, said of Waterson. "She [Waterson] had a great run and she was there for five-and-a-half years and built an amazing business. I don't look at much more than that."

Waterson, who started at Nasty Gal on Friday, is the latest addition to the company who is also planning to open their first brick-and-mortar store.

"I realized that there are only a handful of brands - maybe two [handfuls] - that are actually transforming the retail space, and this is one of them," Waterson told WWD.

As Amoruso and Waterson begin to look for a retail spot for their first store in Los Angeles, Amoruso commented on the brand's evolution. "One of the benefits of being online first and now going into retail is that we aren't burdened with the legacy systems that big retailers have. They [other retailers] are not going to know what hit them."
