In just four days on June 11, 2016, the boldest female makers and creators in American business and culture will descend upon New York City for the launch of the nation's first ever all female talks and music festival The Other Festival. The event, which was previously scheduled at Brooklyn Mirage, will now be taking place at Tribeca's Spring Studios followed by a party at Haus Nightclub.

The day's exhilarating line-up of talks, workshops, demos and a marketplace for female makers called the SMART SHOP village will be housed at Spring Studios [6 St. Johns Lane, New York] from 10:30 AM through 6:00 PM. Here, attendees will listen to and interact with women who are redefining business, setting their own rules, putting new systems in place and pushing boundaries in their respective industries. Discussing everything from design to branding to vlogging and social media, attendees will be given the tools to turn their own ideas into action.

The daytime events will then be followed by a number of performances and stage chats with the hottest names in music including Vashtie, Brooke Candy, Chelsea Leyland, Justine Skye and many more at Haus Nightclub [285 West Broadway, New York] from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Spearheaded by WIE, an influential women's leadership network that works to empower women in their careers, The Other Festival will be a true first of its kind event designed to nurture creativity and promote entrepreneurship among millennial women.
