On Saturday and Sunday, September 24-25 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute presents free, interactive musical activities for families during the annual Fall Family Days held in the Resnick Education Wing.

This musical weekend celebrates the world of jazz with numerous music making opportunities, such as blues songwriting workshops, movement through swing music, and vocal improvisation activities.

There will also be opportunities for everyone in the family to build and play their own instruments, as well as experiment with sampling digital music sounds. Throughout the spaces, guests will get the chance to interact with pop-up musicians and discover some of the famous jazz musicians that have played on the legendary Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage.

Both days will be highlighted by high-energy performances in the Weill Music Room by jazz vocalist BriAnna Thomas.

The Resnick Education Wing at Carnegie Hall is located at 154 West 57th Street.
