FIDM's Advanced Study Fashion Design program is a challenging and exciting year-long journey in which students create an entire fashion collection based on their personally-chosen aesthetic. They premiere their collections at the DEBUT Runway Show, a fashion gala attended by industry insiders and more than 10,000 celebrities, students, and fashion lovers.

Video clips of each collection from the runway show as well as interviews with the inspiring students designers are now available on FIDM.edu. The videos showcase the talents and diversity of the Advanced Study Fashion Design students, who include former star track and field athlete and Atlanta native Octavius Terry. His alternative red carpet collection highlights the power of women and men.

"I was actually a wild child and liked fast cars and motorcycles," says Christine Ko, whose DEBUT collection is inspired by a rose and features beautiful shades of burgundy and grey. Another student designer, Ahmad Murtaza, is a cancer survivor who designed an "East meets West" women's collection. Get to know all 10 of the Advanced Study student designers and hear their inspiring stories here.
