Cast of '13' to be Featured on MTV News on 10/7

The Broadway cast of 13 will be featured on MTV News, on Tuesday, October 7th. The show, which opened on Sunday, October 5th, 2008, began preview performances on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street) on September 16th, 2008.

Get a good look at the lives of the teenagers in the cast when MTV invades their school and rehearsal to show that just because these teens are Broadway stars, does not mean they get to skip out on their high school homework. Leads Graham Phillips (Evan), Allie Trimm (Patrice), Aaron Simon Gross (Archie) and other members of the cast answer questions about what it's like being young and on Broadway, while composer, Jason Robert Brown discusses his inspiration and love for the show.

13 is a new musical with music and lyrics by Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last Five Years) and a book by award winning children's author & songwriter Dan Elish ("Born Too Short, Confessions of an 8th Grade Basket Case") and veteran writer for TV and film Robert Horn ("Designing Women").13, A New Musical is directed by Tony Award nominee Jeremy Sams (The Sound of Music in the West End) and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Christopher Gattelli (South Pacific).  Tom Kitt (High Fidelity) is the Music Director.
