This year's breakout pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen releases her eagerly anticipated U.S. debut album, entitled, Kiss, today via 604 Records/Schoolboy Records/Interscope Records. The Canadian singer and songwriter wrote or co-wrote songs on the album, collaborating with songwriters and producers Max Martin, Dallas Austin, LMFAO's Redfoo, Toby Gad, Marianas Trench singer Josh Ramsay and Matthew Koma. "This Kiss," another surefire pop earworm co-written by Jepsen and produced by LMFAO's Redfoo and Cherrytree/Interscope artist Matthew Koma, is the first single from the album which Billboard says is "poised to be the Canadian's singer's second stuck-in-your-head hit" while Entertainment Weekly raves about the track's "fun fizzy dance beat."

"These are lyric and song ideas that I have been collecting over the years," Jepsen says of Kiss. "I can't tell you how lucky I feel to be able to collaborate with some of my dream producers. It has been the most fulfilling experience. The record is pop. It's inspired by Robyn, The Cars, Madonna, and believe it or not, James Taylor. I can't wait to share it with everyone! Kiss!"

To celebrate the album's release Jepsen will perform the single today on The Ellen Degeneres Show on NBC (check local listings) and tonight on the So You Think You Can Dance season finale (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.

Carly Rae Jepsen will make her first-ever television series appearance in the season premiere episode of 90210 where she will perform "This Kiss". The 90210 season premiere will air Monday, Oct. 8 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on The CW."

The single is also featured in Paramount Pictures' upcoming film "FUN SIZE," starring Victoria Justice. The film is a funny and outrageous family comedy that takes place on Halloween night, sending a young girl's popularity into jeopardy when she is forced to track down her kid brother instead of going to the party of the year. Directed by Josh Schwartz ("Gossip Girl," "The O.C."), written by Max Werner and produced by Stephanie Savage, Josh Schwartz, Bard Dorros, David Kanter. The film also stars Thomas Mann, Thomas McDonell, Thomas Middleditch and Chelsea Handler. "FUN SIZE" is in theaters everywhere October 26, 2012.

Jepsen has been riding high with the success of "Call Me Maybe," which has sold more than 9.1 million singles worldwide, climbed to No. 1 in more than 37 countries, and spent a record-breaking nine weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100, besting Goyte's "Somebody That I Used To Know" for most weeks atop the chart this year. Certified quintuple-platinum in Jepsen's native Canada (where it also hit No. 1), the track is an international sensation, climbing to No. 1 in the iTunes Singles charts in over 37 countries including the U.S. U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Norway and more. Follow up platinum single "Good Time," a duet with Owl City, has climbed to No. 3 on the Pop Chart, No. 5 on the iTunes Singles chart, and No. 13 on Billboard's Hot 100, while the video, featuring Jepsen and Adam Young, has racked up more than twenty million views on VEVO.

This fall, Jepsen hits the road with Justin Bieber as a very special guest on the multi-platinum Pop/R&B star's 2012 headlining tour of North America. For details, please visit www.carlyraemusic.com.
