Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Theatre is excited to perform the Tony Award-winning-musical "Ragtime" on the Halton Theater stage, Feb. 10 - 19. Watch as the CPCC Theatre troupe presents a sweeping portrait of early 20th century America, telling the story of three characters in pursuit of the American Dream.

It's the dawn of a new century, everything is changing, and anything is possible. Set in the volatile melting pot of turn-of-the-century New York, "Ragtime" follows three distinct Americans - a stifled upper-class wife, a determined Jewish immigrant and a daring young Harlem musician - weaving their lives together to show audience members how these three individuals are united by their courage, compassion and belief in the promise of the future.

Don't miss this opportunity to support local theatre; reserve your seat today! Performances run Feb. 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 12 and 19 at 2:30 p.m. at Dale F. Haton Theater, CPCC Central Campus, 1201 Elizabeth Ave., Charlotte, NC.

Individual tickets are $18 and 20. A $10 ticket is available for children under 15 with the purchase of an adult ticket.
