BroadwayWorld's Standing Ovations V Benefit Concert to Be Celebrated at Town Hall on November 1
by Robert Diamond - August 19, 2009

BroadwayWorld.com is proud to announce Standing Ovations V at the legendary Town Hall in midtown Manhattan in the heart of Broadway on Sunday night November 1 at 7:30 PM, The site's President and CEO Rob Diamond decided that it was time to come uptown from Joe's Pub, due to the overwhelming demand for seats in the past and to satisfy the site's large fan base. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com. Click here to purchase.

Diamond has snagged Richard Jay-Alexander to direct the evening (Standing Ovations IV, BroadwayWorld.com on Ice) and Kevin Stites as musical director. James Kinney will be serving as choreographer for additional staging with the move to the larger venue, which is sure to be a night to remember.

BroadwayWorld.com, founded in 2003, is the largest theatre site on the net and has produced several benefit concerts in the past to benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

This is a save the date and tickets are now on sale at Ticketmaster.com. In the upper-tier of pricing, there will be included an after-party with the cast.

The initial talent will be announced after Labor Day, and as in the past, this is sure to be a night to remember. We're celebrating six years of BroadwayWorld.com on the web and are also tipping the hat to the site's founder Rob Diamond, who will be turning 30 on October 31, 2009.

All the proceeds from this special evening, as for all Standing Ovations shows in the past, will go to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

Order your tickets now, this is sure to be a sell-out and the talent lineup will be announced shortly after Labor Day weekend. Don't be left out in the cold! Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com. Click here to purchase.
