Boomerang Theatre Company, currently celebrating its 15th Anniversary, will present three shows in repertory - a world premiere, a classic and a New York premiere - from September 14 through October 13 at Theatre Lab (357 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor) in Manhattan.

The rotating shows are: the world premiere of Johnna Adams' rhyming madcap comedy LICKSPITTLES, BUTTONHOLERS AND DAMNED PERNICIOUS GO-BETWEENS directed by John Hurley; George Bernard Shaw's classic comedy CANDIDA directed by Boomerang Artistic Director Tim Errickson; and the New York premiere of TO FOOL THE EYE an adaptation of Jean Anouilh's "Leocadia" by Jeffrey Hatcher directed by Cailin Heffernan.

In LICKSPITTLES, BUTTONHOLERS AND DAMNED PERNICIOUS GO-BETWEENS (press opening September 15th at 3:00pm) three extraneous Danish court officials: a professional loud mouth (the buttonholer), a kiss ass for hire (the lickspittle ) and a successful dastard (the go-between) are tossed out of court just as Denmark's merchant fleet becomes of strategic importance in the Napoleonic war. The three men journey to France and meet Napoleon's top lickspittle, buttonholer and go-between, their female counterparts. Plots abound, flying machines are destroyed and the head of Marie Antoinette is discovered during the madcap struggle to save Copenhagen from British howitzers. In a rhyming, metered world, the offbeat rules.

The cast of LICKSPITTLES, BUTTONHOLERS AND DAMNED PERNICIOUS GO-BETWEENS is Nat Cassidy (multiple NYIT Award winner), Gavin Starr Kendall, Joseph Mathers, Shashana Newman, Kelley Rae O'Donnell (2013 NYIT Nomination), Ridley Parson, Amy Lee Pearsall, Isaiah Tanenbaum, Kristen Vaughan (NYIT Award Winner) and Chris Weikel.

In Shaw's classic CANDIDA (press opening September 16th at 8:00pm), young sensitive artist and poet Eugene Marchbanks' ardent attentions towards Candida sow seeds of self-doubt within the heart of her self-indulgent pastor husband, the Reverend James Mavor Morell. Caught between loyalty and passion, it is Candida--Shaw's New Woman--who shows both "her boys" basic truths about themselves.

The cast of CANDIDA is Susan Atwood, Jennifer Angela Bishop, John Greenleaf, James Leighton, Django Palty and Sean Williams.

In TO FOOL THE EYE (press opening September 21 at 8:00pm), Amanda, a poor hat maker from Paris, is invited to a chateau by an eccentric duchess to spend a weekend trying to make her suicidal nephew, Albert, forget about the death of his great love, the divine Leocadia. Amanda, it turns out, is a dead ringer for the dead woman, and if she can convince Albert that she is his lost love for just three days, then Albert just might not kill himself.

The cast of TO FOOL THE EYE is Timothy Babcock, David Arthur Bachrach, Steven Cuevas, Sidney L. Fortner, Vince Gatton (Drama Desk Award Winner), John Greenleaf, Jennifer Larkin, Mel Nieves, Jared Reinmuth, Gabby Sherba and Sara Thigpen (NYIT Award Winner).

The design/production team for all repertory series is: Jennifer Stimple Kamei (scenic design), Cheryl McCarron (costume design), Jacob Subotnick (sound design), Benjamin Weill (lighting design), and Sara Slagle (prop design). Additionally, Michael Lawrence Eisenstein will provide fight direction for LICKSPITTLES and "Rock of Ages" music director Henry Aronson will provide music direction for TO FOOL THE EYE.
